Is-sinjal użat għal LOPPJU FIS-SINSLA TAD-DAHAR jew EPIDURAL għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel isir is-sinjal għal INJEZZJONI. Id waħda jieħu l-forma ta’ K imma bis-saba’ l-kbir maħruġ. Imbagħad jinżel bħallikieku qed jagħfas is-siringa fil-genb tal-qadd. (ii) Imbagħad isir is-sinjal għal RAQAD. Id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 u titla’ ħdejn ir-ras bil-pala tħares lejn il-ġenb. Ir-ras tmil u tistrieħ fuqha.
The sign for EPIDURAL has two parts. (i) First the sign for INJECTION is made with one hand that takes the shape of K but with the thumb extended. The thumb is then pushed down at the side of the waist as though pressing on the syringe. (ii) Then the sign for SLEEP is made. One hand takes the shape of 5 and moves towards the head with palm facing the side. The hand bends and rests on it.
